Measuring diameter: measure the outside diameter of main branch pipe of tee with calipers (outside diameter is measured by circumferential method) and inside diameter at least 3 points at each end to ensure that the main outside diameter, inside diameter, outside diameter of branch pipe and inside diameter meet the standard requirements.
(2) measuring the length of the main pipe: measure the length of the main pipe of the tee with square ruler and straight ruler, at least 2 places.
(3) measuring center height: measure the vertical distance between the branch pipe and the inner slope of the main pipe with a ruler and a square ruler, and make sure that the center height of the tee is half of the main pipe's outer diameter.
(4) measurement of bevel Angle: use universal Angle ruler and ruler to measure the bevel and blunt edge of the main branch pipe end of the tee, which should meet the design requirements of the drawing.
(5) measurement of skew: place the tee in the bending plate so that the main branch pipe rests on the bending plate respectively. Measure the clearance between the bending plate and the end face of the tee with a ruler or a plug, and the value shall meet the standard requirements.
The three links shall not have cracks, over - burning, overheating and other phenomena exist, the surface should be no hard point.
The inside and outside surface of the tee should be smooth, without destructive strength and appearance defects, such as scar, scratch, heavy skin, etc., after the discovery of defects should be polished, the thinness of the polished place is not less than the standard requirements of the wall thickness, polished place should be smooth and use coloring agent or magnetic powder flaw detection to confirm the removal of defects.
(3) the root of the three-way branch pipe is not allowed to have obvious folds.
(4) any defects on the tee pipe body shall not be allowed to be repaired by welding.
